North Deeside is a lovely area of Aberdeen. The main areas being Cults, Bieldside, Milltimber and Peterculter, are all located on North Deeside Road and all offer something different.
What to expect
Bieldside and Cults, are located approximately 15 minutes from Aberdeen's City Centre, making both areas perfect if you want to be close to the busy atmosphere of Union Street but far enough away to live in a peaceful environment. Both areas are only 1 mile apart and offer a number of small shops, hair and beauty salons, supermarkets as well as plenty places to grab a coffee with friends.
Peterculter and Milltimber are further along North Deeside, located 6 - 7 miles from the town centre. Both areas offer more of a 'country living' lifestyle with the gorgeous views of the River Dee and woodland walks on offer. Peterculter also offers easy access to grocery stores, hairdressers, bars and restaurants.
What not to expect
Do not expect nightclubs keeping you up all night! North Deeside is great to escape the lively City Centre atmosphere but still offers restaurants and bars for socialising. It is the best of both worlds!
